South Carolina - Friendly places, smiling faces

So, we hit South Carolina - around Waterboro I believe - at about midnight or midnight-thirty. We had an uneventful stay in another fleabag hotel there. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Hilton Head Island since that was one thing on our must see list.
